Questions and answers
How do I convert Excel to JSON?
Drop your Excel files on this page, or choose them, then press Convert. Your browser does the work and you download the JSON file, or a ZIP when there are several.
Will anything be lost?
Cell values come out as Excel stores them, and dates as text like 2026-11-03. Formatting is not kept, and formulas give their last saved value.
Can I convert several files at once?
Yes. Several files download together as a ZIP, and the whole batch counts as one conversion.
What about several sheets?
A workbook with one sheet gives one array of rows. With several sheets you get one array per sheet name.
